_Sea Cliff is a neighborhood located in northwestern San Francisco known for its large houses and ocean views. Sea Cliff is just south of the Bay, north of California St. and El Camino Del Mar, east of 32nd Ave, and west of 27th Ave and 25th Ave. This is a very affluent neighborhood and famous actors such as Robin Williams and Sharon Stone own or have owned homes in this neighborhood. This area is subject to fog at times but offers some of the best Golden Gate and Marin Headland views in the City.
Many of the homes have manicured yards with incongruous palm trees swaying in the fog. The houses are an eclectic mix, with most of being Spanish colonial, others French chateau, Georgian manor and 1960s modern style homes. There are two bus lines in this neighborhood the 1 and 29 bus routes, but most of the residents drive. Many of the residences have 3 to 4 car garages. There is barely any commercial businesses or activity in this whole area.
China Beach Park is the Park next to China Beach. China Beach is a sheltered pocket of sand provides access to the water and a place to stretch out or picnic in the sun. It offers a picnic area, sunbathing, and fine views of the Golden Gate and Marin Headlands.
