Noe Valley is roughly located 22nd St to the north and Diamond Heights and 30th St to the south, Market, Portola and Diamond Heights to the west and San Jose to the east. It is a sunny neighborhood in San Francisco that is protected by the fog by Twin Peaks on one side and the Mission on the other. This neighborhood contains many Victorians. This neighborhood attracts many young professionals and people just starting families, both liberals and conservatives, from the working class to dot.com millionaires. It is a prosperous, shopper friendly neighborhood including many boutiques and specialty stores. It has many nice walking shopping areas with coffee shops, retail stores, local pubs and upscale restaurants. It tends to offer easy access to the freeways for people working in Silicon Valley. The J Church line services it but getting a cab at times from this neighborhood can be challenging.
