Mission Terrace Neighborhood (94112) (10h)

Mission Terrace is the neighborhood bordered by 280 to the north, Geneva and Mission to the south, 280 to the west and Mission to the east.  Mission Terrace is a neighborhood where residents seek to maintain and beautify the intimate quality of this San Francisco neighborhood. Many of the houses were built in the 20s and 30s and it is made up of many Spanish Revival style bungalows.  This neighborhood has undergone many transformations as major transportation corridors have impacted the community.  It offers easy BART access as it has a station BART MUNI Metro Balboa Park and just north of this neighborhood is the BART MUNI Glen Park Station.  There is also easy access to 280.

Balboa Park is a public park built in 1909.  This park offers a public swimming pool, a children's playground, a stadium, baseball diamonds, and tennis courts.  It is located to the west of San Jose Street between Ocean and Havelock.

Churches, Temples, Mosques and other Religious Institutions:
Jehovah's Witnesses is located at 4360 Mission St.

Schools:
Balboa High School (9-12) is located at 1000 Cayuga Avenue.  Reviews:  Greatschools Rated 7 in 2012, Yelp.
