Bayview Heights is the triangular neighborhood of Paul and Gilman to the north and east, Ingalis to the east and south, and 101 to the west. Houses can be found here with Bay views. It has a higher crime rate than other parts of San Francisco. Bayview Heights is an elevated area in the southeastern isolated corner section of San Francisco. It is a gritty blue collar neighborhood. It provides convenient access to 3 Com Park & Stadium (Candlestick Park home of the SF 49ers) and offers convenient access to the 101 freeway. There however is very limited MUNI and public transportation access.
