Alamo Square Neighborhood (94115 & 94117) (6e)
Alamo Square is a not well defined neighborhood considered to be
Webster Street on the east, Golden Gate Avenue on the north, Divisadero
Street on the west, and Fell Street on the south. It is characterized by
Victorian architecture and Alamo Square Park. This neighborhood is made up of many young people and upper-middle-class homeowners, and a diverse older population. Divisadero Street, which divides Alamo Square from the North Panhandle, is home to a number of small businesses, restaurants and bars. One thing to note about Alamo Square is that parking can be quite challenging and the local residences have been trying to get a separate designation permit just for its neighborhood area.
